Books on Healing Emotional Trauma

Healing Books for Inspiration – Health, Emotions, Finances

We all went through awakening moments when reading a book opened our eyes, inspired us or changed us. Books are my big passion, and many times I order more of them than I actually have time to read. I would like to share my list below for inspiration. Some books I came across recently, and some of them I consider to be evergreens. Here are my tips below.

Awakening Books (Evergreens)

  • Neale Donald Walsch. Awaken the Species. Most probably you know the more famous trilogy Conversations with God. This is one of my favorite spiritual healing books. I recommend you have a look at those three books as well. I enjoyed reading the trilogy quite some time ago and it still stayed with me. This book is about humans being invited to assist the planet during collective evolution. Now it’s the time when we decide on the future life on the planet. Or check out the trilogy.
  • Eckhart Tolle. New Earth. This is the Bible of New Age spirituality I read years ago, but I will happily come back to this book anytime. If not, this book then I will watch one of his teachings or courses.
  • Steve Taylor. The LeapAbout Spiritual Awakening & Enlightenment and making it more ordinary and a new step in evolution that we are undergoing collectively.
  • Anita Moorjani. Dying to be Me. Her story on beating cancer can inspire anyone dealing with a health issue, and it shows how amazingly capable healing abilities we possess.
  • Matt Kahn. Whatever Arises Love That. The title speaks for itself in this case, and this is a healing book that focuses on opening our hearts and transforming our reality.
  • Joe Dispenza.Becoming Supernatural. About transcending old belief systems, and new states of being, tuning into higher frequencies, changing reality that no longer serves us, and transforming our biology.

Books on Emotional Healing

  • No Bad Parts, Richard C.Schwartz. A great introductory book on Internal Family Systems. I like that there are practical, short meditations and step-by-step guides to working with parts you wish to heal.
  • Jay Earley. Self Therapy. Book on how to transform your stuck parts. I have the audio version and liked it very much. If you like parts work, this is also a very practical guide full of guided meditations.
  • Karyl Mc.Bride. Will I Ever be Good Enough? Recommended read for children that have experienced narcissistic parent abuse.
  • Evette Rose. Metaphysical Anatomy: Your Body Is Talking, Are You Listening? When you wish to understand the causes of emotional, mental, and physical ailments that stem from your childhood, ancestry, or birth. This is not a book to read from the beginning to the end, but rather to look for specific health issues you personally or your clients are dealing with and get an idea of what emotional root causes behind them.
  • The Self-Love Experiment. Shannon Kaiser. I was looking for a quality self-love book for some time, if you need a helping hand with being more kind to yourself, accepting your mistakes, changing destructive habits, and just simply living life with passion, this is an excellent choice.
  • First Aid for Social Anxiety: Gain Confidence in Social Situations. How to Deal With Social Anxiety in the Moment of Trigger? Learn Powerful Tools How To Deal With Social Anxiety In The Moment, Gain Confidence And Realise Self-Value.
  • The Gene Keys: Embracing Your Higher Purpose. Richard Rudd. The book explains how to transform your specific “shadow patterns” or traumas, into creative gifts. On every page there is a key insight that will help you to see yourself and live your life in a more harmonious way. What I like about Richards’ approach is that all Gene Keys apply to us all but the ones in your profile are specific to you for the time you were born and help us to focus on the ones that are most relevant to us personally. Richard recommends to contemplate them one by one and you may also wish to contemplate any Gene Key that you feel intuitively drawn to at any time.
  • Acupressure for Emotional Healing: A Self- Care Guide For Trauma, Stress & Common Emotional Imbalances. As in acupuncture, specific pressure points are connected with internal organs and energy pathways in the body (called meridians) that regulate the flow of electrical energy to all systems. It is a great guide to emotional ailments, with fully-illustrated instruction on dozens of precise acupressure point locations and how to activate them.
  • Inner Active Cards for Parts Works Cards, Inner Active Cards for Parts Works.
